The warranty terms detailed here are effective as of the date specified in this document. Durability and Quality Guaranteed

Policrete is a high-quality coating designed to provide a durable and aesthetically pleasing surface. With proper maintenance, its lifespan can exceed 30 years. This warranty covers material and workmanship defects for interior applications, provided that the recommended usage and maintenance conditions are met.

1. Warranty Coverage

• Interior floors: 5-year warranty against material and application defects.
• Walls and showers: 12-year warranty against material and application defects.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty DOES NOT cover:

Usage and Maintenance Conditions:

• Normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, loss of gloss).
• Lack of proper maintenance, including the use of incorrect cleaning products.
• Exposure to harsh chemicals that may damage the surface.
• Placement of furniture or appliances without protective pads on legs or bases.
• Failure to protect the floor during remodeling or construction (e.g., using Ram Board or Masonite).

Structural and Environmental Conditions:

• Cracks or fractures wider than 1/8", resulting from substrate structural issues.
• Rising water table levels causing excessive moisture from below the surface.
• Water leaks from windows without proper waterproofing.
• Water infiltration in bathrooms due to improper sealing of shower tiles or bases.
• Damage caused by floods, water overflows, hurricanes, earthquakes, or other natural disasters.

Natural Characteristics of the Product:

• Policrete is handcrafted and manually applied; variations are expected, including:
  • Differences in color and texture.
  • Variations in fluidity and color design.
  • Changes in gloss and color perception under different lighting conditions.

3. Conditions for Warranty Validity

• Regular maintenance must be performed using recommended products.
• The client is responsible for ensuring proper waterproofing of the substrate before installation.
• The floor must be protected during remodeling or construction.
• This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable if the property is sold.

4. Warranty Scope

If a material or application defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, Policrete will repair or replace the affected area at no additional cost. This warranty does not cover additional costs related to external labor, furniture relocation, or any other indirect expenses.

5. Acceptance of Terms

The use of Policrete implies acceptance of these terms. To make a warranty claim, the client must provide proof of proper maintenance and compliance with these conditions.
